Towards global taxation in the service of alternative globalisation
This overview of global taxes follows the "Landau Report" which was commissioned by president Chirac in 2004. The author of the essay,
economist Jacques Cossart (ATTAC France), participated in the working group which produced the report. He stresses "the advisability of a diversified international tax system rather than a single tax, however relevant."
